How do I contact someone about my Book Fair?

Q. What will I earn for running my Book Fair?

Q. What is the Customer Rewards Program?

Q. Do I need to keep track of each book we sell?  
A. No, keep track of the daily sales to complete your finance form.
 
 
Q. How do I know what books will be on my Fair?  
A. A committee chooses the books that will be on each season's fair. They evaluate thousands of titles based on 20 different categories such as, covers, illustrations, content, language, cultural diversity, character development, plot, hook, market balance and fit, current treands, reading level, and price. Q. What is the procedure for damaged items?  
A. Package them together and return to Book Fairs in a clearly marked box.
 
 
Q. Should I be present when the fair is delivered?  
A. No, just make sure the school secretary or school representative knows where it should go.
 
 
Q. How can I prevent or lessen theft?  
A. Have adequate volunteers whenever students are visiting the fair. Keep small, tempting items near the register, and implement a no-back pack policy. Door monitors are helpful too if you feel the risk is high.
 
 
Q. I can't find the price on a book or in the Alphabetical List.  
A. Call your sales consultant or customer service representative to find a comparable item and use its price; make a list of these prices so you're consistent. Send us the list to help us correct the problem.
 
 
Q. Do I have to get authorization for credit cards?  
A. No. Scholastic Book Fairs will do that as soon as we receive the slips from you.

 
Q. How much cash should I begin with?  
A. We recommend $50 for each cash register, have extra on hand for family events.
