Bulletin Board
Display your bulletin board in a prominent place at the school to advertise your Book Fair.

Cost: Under $10.00
Time: 1.5 to 2.5 hours

Here's how to create it:

  • Cover bulletin board with paper.
  • Make date and time signs out of foam board, for a raised effect glue pieces of foam board to the back.
  • Use patterns to cut out 3-D construction-paper letters.
  • To attach letters to board, curl pipe cleaners and tape to the back of the letters.
  • Staple pipe cleaners with letters attached to the board.
  • Use pattern to create a construction paper hat (PDF), decorate with paint and swirls (PDF) and staple to the board, curving slightly for depth.
  • Use star pattern (PDF) to create sprinkling of stars and glue to board.
