Create this fun accessory to hang out side your school to promote
the upcoming Book Fair.
Cost: Under $5.00
Time: 1.5 hour
Here's what you need:
• Brown Paper Lunch Bag
• Tissue Paper
• Crêpe Paper Streamers
• Scissors
• Glue
• Hole-Punch
• String
Here's what you do:
• First, cut strips of tissue paper about 6 inches wide and
long enough to wrap around the bag.
• Fringe the strips by using your scissors to cut about 1/2
way up each strip, 1 to 4 inches apart.
• Starting at the bottom, glue the strips around the bag.
(Only glue the uncut part, not the fringes.)
• When you glue on the second strip, overlap it so it comes
about to where you cut the fringe.
• Repeat until you've covered the entire bag.
• Then add long tissue paper or crêpe paper streamers
to the very bottom.
• Add animal features as desired.
• Punch two holes on opposite sides at the top of the bag.
• Lace a piece of string around the holes.
• Tie in a loop and hang your puppy windsock.
