Sails,
Windows, and Flower Boxes
Sails
are made of septic-tank liner (truly! it's very inexpensive)
gathered in artful swags that are tied to bamboo-pole "masts."
Porthole windows. Brown paper frames hold "glass" panes
of black paper embellished with chalk-drawn, white "reflection"
marks. Add paper "shutters" for prow windows, using same wood-grain
technique applied to hatch (door).
Flower Boxes are cut-down cardboard boxes covered with brown
paper and filled with crepe-paper flowers. Black construction paper
creates the "wrought iron" effect.
