Sponsor Read and Rise in a School in Your Town! ![]() Scholastic seeks the involvement of businesses and other organizations, which are encouraged to sponsor Scholastic Read and Rise Book Fairs in schools that have never hosted a Book Fair for students and their families. Over the years, Scholastic Book Fairs have proven to be a fun and effective way to promote reading. In fact, children who are given the opportunity to choose the books they want to read for fun are more likely to become lifelong readers and learners (Source: 2008 Kids and Family Reading Report). If your business or organization would like to participate in the Read and Rise program by sponsoring a school or multiple schools, please call (800) 874-4809, ext. 8294, or email us at sponsor@scholasticbookfairs.com. |
