Kethlun Warder was a gifted glassmaker until his world was shattered in a freak accident. Now his remaining glass-magic is mixed with lightning, and Tris must teach him to control it.

Excerpt:
The man thrust the glass back into the open furnace, waited a moment, then brought the pipe to his lips. He cupped the base of the glass with his mold and blew into the pipe. The material at its end bulged, twisted, and thrust about even harder, plainly fighting him. It grew longer and snakelike, with big lumps on top and underneath.

It was a really good book, however it was a bit confusing at times and slow to get started. But the storyline was great, and the ending was brilliant. Cold Fire was my favorite, than Magic steps, then Shatterglass and last of all Street magic. I have read all of her series and can't wait for Tricksters Choice to come out.

It was a great book. I read the whole Circle Opens Quartet and out of the four it was my second favorite. My first favorite was Street Magic the second one in the series. By the way Shatterglass is #4. The order is Magic Steps first, then Street Magic, then Cold Fire, then Shatterglass.
